National Scientific is actively involved in research and development in semiconductors and their manufacture and product development based on advanced research by Dr. Hashemi and Dr. El-Sharawy. These efforts have resulted in three patent applications being filed on the following products:

Our HETROJUNCTION BIPOLAR TRANSISTOR (HBT) is faster, reduces noise and increases signal gain. The MONLITHIC INDUCTOR is many times faster than currently available, much smaller and 100% compatible with current integrated circuit technology. Our STATIC RANDOM ACCESS MEMORY (SRAM) provides reduced size along with enhancements in standby current, write speed and switching noise.

Two other electronic component patent applications are currently being filed. All five of these projects represent product and/ or process enhancements that have wide spread applicability to existing high volume markets.
