NATIONAL SCIENTIFIC ANNOUNCES PATENT FILING ON MONOLITHIC ON-CHIP INDUCTOR

Scottsdale, AZ. - Company Chairman, L. Lou Ross, announces that the company has filed patent application for a Monolithic Inductor that represents a radical advancement in the design of on-chip inductors.

The new National Scientific designed inductor delivers performance that is any times that of on-chip inductors currently available and actually approaches the performance of discrete components, which function outside IC (integrated circuit) architecture. The monolithic inductor is 100% compatible with current IC manufacturing technology and requires no additional steps to be included in the manufacturing process.

Inductors and/or coils are used in the broadest range of electronic circuits for telecommunications applications. Since National Scientific's device ran be easily included within an integrated circuit, it offers manufacturers dramatic cost reductions through simplified design, assembly, and testing. In addition, the new device will allow for significantly increased miniaturization, a critical factor for electronics manufacturers circuit technology.

The Nation Scientific inductor is expected to have an immediate, dramatic impact on wireless communications as it is implemented in applications in the 1-Ghz band including digital/PCS cellphones and all microwave circuits.

Mr. Ross states "The filing of patents on the monolithic inductor is an important development for National Scientific. It is a major breakthrough that we believe will move the IC market forward by enabling manufactures to increase speed, performance, and miniaturization while reducing costs significantly. We expect the advent of our new inductor will quickly spawn new applications, increased productivity and a distinct market advantage for manufacturers who employ it."

Ross adds, "We are in the process of manufacturing sample product and look forward to introducing this new product to prospective customers in about ninety (90) days."

National Scientific Corporation is engaged in the research and development of manufacturing processes and commercial products that utilize unique, patented and/or proprietary technologies. The Company's stock trades under the symbol "NSCT" on the OTC Bulletin Board.
